Scotland Cave

Located in Scotland, this basalt cave was once used by pirates, who carved ornate features into the cave rock itself. It was a challenge to create interesting, natural spaces, out of the hexagonal appearance of columnar basalt formations. Some sections of the cave gave way to a medieval catacomb system. The level was traversed on foot, and included a great deal of climbing, some puzzle gameplay, and a number of in-game cinematics.
